The Auburn Concert Band provides a place for adult musicians to continue
playing their instruments and to perform for the community. We typically
put on two formal concerts each season. We also perform for a variety of
community functions such as the Elks Lodge dinner in October and the
annual Eisley Nursery Mothers Day Outdoor Concert. Smaller ensembles
formed within the Band also perform at Old Town Auburn's Country
Christmas, the Ragtime Corner during the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, the
Auburn Art Walk, and the Placer Nature Center Fourth Friday Lectures.
The Auburn Concert Band is a wind band of volunteer musicians.
The Band plays challenging music; traditional symphonic band literature, plus show music/variety.
Currently, we are seeking experienced musicians. The band's conductor,
